Amy joined Illinois Right to Life as executive director in December of 2020. She brings over 35 years of volunteer and professional pro-life experience to the organization. After volunteering for Arkansas Right to Life throughout high school and college, Amy spent 10 years in the Communications department of the National Right to Life Committee in Washington, D.C. Amy and her family moved to Wisconsin in 2000 where she quickly began volunteering for Wisconsin Right to Life. She was elected to the Wisconsin Right to Life Board of Directors in 2007 and served as president of the organization from 2008-2013. Amy left the Board in 2015 to join the Wisconsin Right to Life staff where she served as Vice President for Advancement and Development until 2020. Throughout her career, Amy has presented on pro-life policy and strategy to thousands at conferences and other events throughout the U.S. In addition, she has worked with numerous pro-life leaders to advance the cause of life.

Steve has been the program director of Illinois Right to Life since August of 2019. Prior to his current role, Steve graduated with his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law and PhD from the University of Chicago. His writing has been featured by Daily Wire, Newsweek, and The Hill and his research on when life begins has been featured in Breitbart, Quillette, and One America News Network. He has presented to college and law students at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University School of Law, Loyola University, and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

She has presented to law and medical students at Northwestern University and to undergraduates at the University of Chicago, where she debated Professor Geoffrey Stone, who was a clerk on the U.S. Supreme Court when Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.

Heart2Heart Educational Program Team Presentation
Using the leading research on how students learn most effectively and retain information, our brand new educational program combines storytelling and facts to be most effective and turn hearts pro-life. The Heart2Heart Program is a free online library of professionally filmed videos that serve to teach students pro-life values on various pro-life issues.
