About Project Love
Project Love is the charitable outreach of Illinois Right to Life. Project Love’s mission is to support pregnant women and new mothers in a financial crisis by providing grants for rent, utility bills or other necessities.
Founded in 1996 by the late Mary Bliss out of her love and concern for pregnant women in difficult situations, Project Love has provided over 1,000 financial grants in the last 25 years to women in unplanned pregnancies and crisis pregnancy situations.
Since its inception, we have gifted over half a million dollars in grants to support pregnant women and their families.

Do you know why Project Love is one of Illinois Right to Life’s most important programs?
Within just the last year we were able to work with at least 19 different agencies across Illinois. Since Project Love’s inception, our average grant size has grown from a couple of hundred dollars to roughly $800 and is now over $1,000. Each year we issue between $35,000 to $41,000 in Project Love grants to well-deserving women and families.
