This year, 40 Days for Life Fall 2016 is ramping up to be like no other before!
As we speak, pro-lifers throughout Illinois, in all 50 United States, and across the world, are gearing up for this next peaceful, prayerful campaign, which will kick off on Wednesday, September 28th. Pledging to pray and fast for 40 days for an end to abortion, thousands of people are signing up for vigils (sometimes 24 hours) outside abortion centers and Planned Parenthood facilities in their local communities.
But that’s not all…
This campaign will be the largest worldwide pro-life mobilization in history!
Just a few weeks ago, 40 Days for Life announced the launch of its first ever UNITED bus tour. What’s this all about? 40 Days for Life says,
“Recognizing the urgency for ending America’s abortion crisis, 40 Days for Life will set out on an unprecedented 40-day bus tour to bring its message of hope to cities and towns across the United States that are united in prayer and fasting during this fall’s UNITED 40 Days for Life campaign, which runs from September 28 to November 6 …
The UNITED tour will make stops in more than 125 cities to hold rallies and prayer vigils that will encourage Christians to stand together for the sanctity of life all across the nation.”

So mark your calendars. The big, blue 40 Days for Life bus is going to be in Illinois on Thursday, October 13th. At 12pm, the UNITED rally will take place at:

Fall 2016 will be the nineteenth 40 Days for Life campaign since its beginning. Over the years, the prayerful witness of hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers throughout our country and our world has left such a tremendous impact on so many hearts.
Since the first coordinated campaign in 2007, 40 Days for Life has documented that there have been:
- 4,168 total campaigns
- 636 participating cities
- 36 participating countries
- 700,000 individual participants
- 18,500 participating churches
- 11,796 lives saved from abortion
- 133 abortion workers quit
- 75 abortion facilities closed
And the numbers keep climbing every year!
