The Democratic National Convention is one of the hottest topics of this past week. Because of the radical pro-abortion stance of the Democratic candidates, pro-lifers are doing all they can to broadcast this, and to show the American people that we can’t sit back and watch this happen. It will be an astronomical failure for the pro-life movement if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win this election.
On August 17th, the first day of the Democratic National Convention, the pro-life organization Created Equal decided to do something about this. They flew a huge banner with the words “Unborn Black Lives Matter” over Milwaukee, where the conference was being held that day. Along with these words, the banner had a picture of a fifteen-week old aborted baby across it. The banner began in Brookfield, Wisconsin and ended up in Milwaukee. It is supposed to circle Milwaukee from August 17th to August 20th.
In a statement on why they believe it is important that this particular message is shown at the DNC, Mark Harrington, the president of Created Equal, stated, “The Black Lives Matter Foundation (BLM) demands ‘reproductive justice’ and the Democratic platform promotes tax-payer funding of abortion through all nine months of pregnancy.” He goes on to say that, “We want to demonstrate that the BLM Foundation and the Democratic Party don’t care about hundreds of thousands of black lives: namely, all the unborn black babies that Planned Parenthood and other abortionists kill every year,”
Since the Black Lives Matter campaign is unquestionably one of the most controversial topics in America right now, highlighting how many African Americans abortion kills each year is extremely important, and Created Equal realizes this. As has been pointed out many times in the pro-life movement, Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, and extreme racist, and has been accused and found guilty of racism time and time again.
Harrington, President of Created Equal, also released some shocking statistics about the abortions of black children in America. He laments the incredible amount of African American children aborted saying, “While blacks make up 13% of the total U.S. population, they account for close to 40% of all abortions in the country.”
Created Equal has done what pro-lifers all around America are trying to do this election year: expose the pro-choice movement for the hypocrisy and inconsistency it preaches. The creative way they decided to do it was to display a banner over their convention announcing what the Democrats won’t acknowledge and don’t want to hear. The pro-lifers are announcing to everyone present that, “We want life and love for all and believe that every child deserves a chance, and the only way that will be possible is if we ban abortion in this country: for children who are black, white, or any color!”
