FAQ:

Why do I need a business card and what do you put on it?

While legislators are in session, you will have the opportunity to “call them off the floor” and speak with them!  Make sure you write your name and address on one side, and your legislator’s name on the other side. You can go to the House and Senate Chambers (located on the second floor) and hand your business card to the door man, who will then bring it to your legislator. (If you don’t have a business card, no worries – Illinois Family Institute will have a table with cards available.)

Why do I need my lawmaker’s name and Springfield office address?

So you can visit your State Representative and State Senator, before or after the rally. All senate offices are in the Capitol Building and most representative offices are on the second floor of the Stratton Building (to the west of the capitol).

Why do I need a pro-life button?

To show you’re pro-life 😉 If you don’t have one, no worries. Illinois Family Institute will have some at their table.

Why do I need quarters?

For those traveling on their own, parking meters are on the west streets.

Can I bring a sign(s)?

You can, but signs will not be allowed above the first floor.
