We are excited to announce that on December 1st, the day of the U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments in the Dobbs versus Jackson Women’s Health case, Illinois Right to Life will be hosting a “Day of Dobbs.”
This full day of events will begin with a live listening session and panel discussion with a number of distinguished legal experts at the Union League Club of Chicago in the morning.
Throughout the day we will provide updates on the action in Washington, D.C. on both Facebook and Instagram live.
The day will conclude with our “Day of Dobbs Reception” in Lincoln Park. There guests will enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres as well as a brief update on the events of the day from IRL Program Director and author of two Dobbs amicus curiae briefs, Dr. Steve Jacobs, IRL Executive Director, Amy Gehrke, and more. This informative reception will conclude with a Q&A session on the oral arguments and the future of this case as well as how it may affect Illinois.
