It’s go time!

And it really is. (In Illinois especially.)

“This is the eve of the start of the largest 40 Days for Life campaign yet,” said Shawn Carney, President of 40 Days for Life.

Beginning tomorrow, September 27th, people in 375 cities around the world will kick-off the Fall 2017 campaign for 40 Days for Life.

For the next 40 days (ending November 5), pro-lifers statewide, nationwide, and globally will put their pro-life values and their love for human life to the forefront. In prayer, fasting, and peaceful presence at abortion clinics everywhere, they give witness to the beauty and value of life and hope to bring an end to abortion worldwide.

And it’s working!

40 Days for Life reports:

“Since the first coordinated 40 Days for Life campaign took place in 2007 through the end of 2016, local campaign leaders have reported these blessings — God’s answers to their prayers:

  • 4,876 total campaigns
  • 715 cities
  • 44 countries
  • 750,000 individual participants
  • 19,000 churches
  • 13,305 lives saved from abortion
  • 154 abortion workers quit their jobs
  • 86 abortion facilities closed”

Your presence, in a peaceful, prayer, loving way shows there are good, kind people who are there and willing to support a woman in this incredibly difficult time in her life.  Let’s take these next 40 days to open our hearts to women and men in need and do everything we can to empower them with the ability to choose life for their child.

Join us in this year’s fall campaign from September 27, 2015 – November 5, 2017!

Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Find a location closest to you.
  2. Create a profile at 40 days for life to sign up.
  3. Select a time(s) that you will pray outside the center.
  4. Show up for your scheduled time and pray for the women and men seeking abortion and for their unborn child.
