Bobby Schindler: Defending the Dignity of the Disabled and Medically Vulnerable

In 2005, 26 year old Terri Schiavo experienced an unexplained collapse, while at home alone with her husband, leaving her mentally and physically handicapped. After a short period of time, her husband lost interest in caring for her and took legal action to withhold basic medical care, even though she was not dying and was not suffering from a life threatening disease. We will hear her brother Bobby share Terri’s story, a story that compels us to consider deeper questions on the dignity and value of life, especially when a person becomes disabled.
